And here I stand.

Next to this massive force,

feeling small of course,

but also powerful.

I exist along the same plateau

as this incredible strength

capable of mass destruction.

I stand.

I am not underestimating its power

to wash me away in a blink.

I am estimating mine,

my ability to stand beside

this great beast.

To exist even if it takes me,

even if just in a memory

or here in my words.

I stand.
