Where do you turn when it all falls apart?

When you’re struggling do you know where to turn?
Do you know what you need when it all starts to fall apart?
Do you connect with yourself without judgment?
Have you met your younger self and seen the pain and the truth?
Do you allow yourself to come undone and hold your self when it feels like the world wants to swallow you whole?
Do you seek help through music, or dance, or writing?
Do you ask for help from someone you can trust?
Do you have a fierce tribe with a soft place to fall?
Do you further increase your pain by abandoning your needs?

Our brains can be liars. When we feel so much that silencing and numbing and abusing and using and closing feel like viable options for survival.

Have you been doing that for years?

Just to look back at stagnancy and stuck.

When was the last time you cried and clenched your heart so hard you couldn’t see through the streams of tears?
When was the last time you experienced a massive loss and didn’t just turn the channel or scroll through?
When was the last time you sat with death and allowed the anger to come rather than realize is was a guise for pain and fear and sorrow?
Where do you block and shut down and refuse to emote?

What would it feel like to allow it all to pour out of you, to come undone, to let go?

If any one of these or all of these resonate then you are in fact a human.
