Let’s breathe!
First I want to say well done on considering what is possible for you and making shifts in your life. We all know creating healthy rituals is important so I wanted to create one to utilize the breath intentionally to create some space for deeper well-being in your life. Yes you, you matter!
The rules are simple - just breathe! Every day for at least the next 33 you are making a commitment to yourself to set aside 3 to 33+ minutes devoted to breathing intentionally. You can use any breath pattern; a simple in and out through the nose or mouth, take the in breath through the nose and release out through the mouth, or use one you have learned!
Set any intention you desire beyond reconnecting to yourself; healing, honoring to yourself, feeling your feelings, grounding, accessing love/abundance/harmony, creating space to respond instead of reacting, etc.
Then scribe or journal your experience tracking when you breathed, how it felt, any shifts, etc. Journal prompts available in the downloadable tracker below.
Some offerings to-do: set a timer, play some music, light a candle, feel the support below you, notice your body, energy, emotions, intentions, use a resource like a crystal, oils, an image of a person, place, or thing that brings you comfort.
Do not-do’s: activate your breath while in water, unsupported, while operating any equipment, or generally in a position or place that could put you in harm’s way - take responsibility and make sure you are safe to practice.
