"Your body is the site of liberation" - Tricia Hersey

Hey! I am glad you are here. It is a courageous thing to seek something new/different/better for yourself - so well done on this step! First things first - I am not a therapist and believe in a holistic healing approach that is bottom-up and inclusive of our wholeness, soma, heart/mind, soul/psyche.
I'm Tracy and I have a love for all things healing, recovery, community, dignity, justice, and liberation (nature, animals, and books too). I am a somatic practitioner with a deep reverence for our human condition, and I stay inspired by the invitation to learn, grow, embody, connect, and create from our soul's purpose. I hope to contribute to the well-being of all and become a better ancestor with my temporary time here. My survival fuels my desire to support others. What legacy do you hope to leave?

As a somatic practitioner, I steward humans through grief, trauma, initiation, transition, recovery, and toward liberation from the inside out. Learning about our nervous system and that it is not defective in its measures of protection can provide great relief and a first step in relating to our body in supportive and resourceful ways. I like to say unregulated versus dysregulated (dys = bad, ill) because always being regulated shouldn't and can't be the goal, flexibility within our systems should be and when we come out of regulation it is for a reason, not defective. We learn patterns of survival and the perception of safety through experience, and sometimes it is necessary to upcycle those strategies when they become outdated or no longer supportive. Your body has the answers, learning its language and how to truly listen is key. Whether it is past or present challenges, changes, or trauma, I am here to support you on your journey, you are not alone.

I help people heal through the body, to remember their wholeness so they can live fully, mindfully of their gifts, impacts, beingness, inherent value & worth. I believe much of what ails us is unprocessed grief and overwhelming (to the body) experience. I offer a container for generative healing & embodiment. One that pays attention to the intersections of our in-bodies systems, like the way our immune system and nervous system rely on one another. My greatest hope is that by creating healing spaces we can create generative wellness in the world, return to the roots of community to flourish from, and support and resource all bodies through our interconnected and interrelating.

This work, these processes, and your experience are sacred, we cannot heal alone or in isolation. I would be honored to connect and see if working together would be a fit and offer a free meet-n-greet to explore those options, a sliding scale and pay-what-you-can sessions as well. Your financial well-being is a part of your whole organism's well-being =) I also host women's circles, online and in-person retreats, grief groups, couples sessions, somatic movement, breathwork and meditations, and I am a birth doula - empowering birthing people as they bring new life in.
